About Lyle Nicholson

Lyle Nicholson is the author of fiction and non-fiction novels, novellas, short stories, and a contributor of freelance articles to several newspapers and magazines in Canada.

In his former life, he was involved in sales for corporate security protection and oilfield safety. His business travels took him to the USA, Europe, and Canada’s far north.

But his most memorable trips were to Alaska’s High Arctic. It was there, that Polar Bear Dawn, the first novel in the Callahan Detective series was born from the desolate Arctic nights. Seven novels have followed the first book as well as several prequels and short stories.

He lives in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada with his lovely wife of many years where he indulges in his passion for writing, cooking, and fine wines.
